1 Student Bulletin 10 September 2018. Attendance We expect excellent attendance from all our students, and have a minimum requirement of 95% attendance. As poor attendance is one of the primary reasons for underachievement, we have a system in place to ensure we are alerted to poor attendance and both sanctions and support are put in place. If your attendance is below 90% for the next 3 weeks you will automatically be placed on a stage 0 contract which will be an email to you and your parents. Over the following 3 weeks, if your attendance is below 90% again you will be placed on a stage 1 contract and have to sign in at for 3 weeks. If you failed that you would be placed on a stage 2 contract and have four hours compulsory study in the learning zone for 3 weeks.

2 Even if your attendance is authorised, if it is below 90% you will still be placed on a stage 0 contract (unless there has been a stay in hospital or other long period of illness), so we can ensure you get the support you need to catch up and to ensure you aren't missing too much college. Olivia Stanton Change of Subject We hope that you are happy with the subjects you have chosen to study here. If however, you would like to apply for a change of subject there is the opportunity to do so over the next few days. Think carefully about it before you take this step. If you decide to apply, complete the Application to change a subject form which you can pick up from your tutor or reception.

3 We will try to process the change you request but it will depend on whether there is space available in the subject you apply to join and how many other people want to do the same thing.
