Sub-Saharan Africa
West and Central Africa (especially Burkina Faso, Chad, Mali, Mauritania, Niger and Senegal), and Ethiopia and Madagascar in Eastern and Southern Africa, mean that the pandemic is hitting already vulnerable populations. For many countries in sub-Saharan Africa, the pandemic is further aggravating ongoing crises communities are already facing.
