4 All the Best,Dr. Ronald Kraft3 Napa Valley College SUMMER 2018 SCHEDULE of Credit ClassesA LEGACY OF COMMITMENTA bout Napa Valley CollegeThe citizens of Napa County made a clear commitment to higher educa-tion in 1941 when they passed a bond issue to establish Napa Junior College. One year later, 75 years ago, Napa Ju-nior College was founded as part of the Napa Union High School District. The first year of America s involvement in World War II marked the college s first CLASS of just 16 the end of WWII, GIs flooded into the new college seeking educational opportunity. During 1948-49, new col-lege buildings were added next to Napa High community reaffirmed its commit-ment to the college in 1962 by passing a bond issue to build a new college cam-pus on land owned by the Napa State Hospital.

5 After 23 years of operation, the college had its own 1982, Napa College changed its name to Napa Valley College. The of-ficial opening of a permanent Upper Valley Campus in St. Helena in the fall of 1994 brought educational opportu-nities closer to home for upper valley residents and added new dimensions to the college curriculum. If you have qualifying status at Napa Valley College as active duty military, veteran, current or former foster youth, DSPS, and/or EOPS, complete Assessment, Orientation and Counseling/Advising to receive priority 1 enrollment students must make successful academic progress and have fewer than 100 degree applicable units in order to maintain good standing and remain eligible for priority registration.

7 Non-degree applicable courses are excluded from the students with a cumulative GPA under for two consecutive semesters will lose enrollment priority until their cumulative GPA is or students who have 50% or more of all the units attempted as W, l, NP, or NC grades, will be on Progress Probation. If the student is on Progress Probation for two consecutive semesters, the student will lose enrollment of Fall 2017, students who lose enrollment priority will also lose BOGFW eligibility. Stu-dents may submit an appeal to Admissions & Records for consideration to have priority of BOGFW : Assessment, Orientation, and Counseling are recommended for all students, but required only for first-time, new-to-college students.
