Swagelok products, as listed in this document, are Compatible with both on-vehicle and infrastructure hydrogen applications . Hydrogen- Compatible products have had the materials of construction reviewed for appropriate use with hydrogen . Some metals are susceptible to hydrogen embrittlement, specifically hardened Belleville springs and stems.

4 These have been replaced with less susceptible materials for compatibility with hydrogen service . Some elastomers are also more susceptible to hydrogen degradation and have been replaced with more resilient materials .
