Syringe diameter data, in mm, is listedbelow for each Syringe . All Harvard Apparatus microprocessor syringepumps require the user to input Syringe diameter information. Thepump uses this diameter data to set flow rates. The PHD 22/2000series of Syringe pumps also has this information built into the pumpmemory in a handy Syringe Look Up Table.

Average pressures for any Syringe pump andsyringe combination can be calculated by dividing the average (nomi-nal) Syringe pump force by the Syringe diameter (in square inches) toobtain PSI.
