3 Your winch is a very powerfulmachine. If used unsafely or improperly, there is a possibility that property damage or per-sonal injury can result. 9 10. It is a good idea to lay a heavyblanket or jacket over the wirerope near the hook end whenpulling heavy loads (Figure 5).
