A Guider/Mom dressed in a grass skirt and lei welcomes each girl and gives her a lei. Then the girls are taken to a lagoon for campfire. The lagoon is a wading pool with sand on the bottom and filled with water and floating candles. Here the girls will sit around the lagoon and have campfire - songs, skits, yells and a story or a reading. Then it will be off to bed in Hawaii (soft music with water sounds would be nice here). Have the girls listen to the surf, this is very relaxing. Saturday Morning Australia Breakfast in the Outback - use silly names for breakfast choices, crocodile egg scramble, kangaroo flapjacks and dingo strips (bacon).

5 Don't forget to take tickets and charge for brekkie. United States Visit with the Native Americans. Here you may do a craft such as Dream Catchers or Sand Art. The older girls could learn archery. Lunch in Switzerland Here again, you need to dream up silly names for you food, Zopf soup, Ziegeunersalat sandwiches, etc. Heidi costumes are worn by the Guiders. England After taking train tickets and stamping passports, pass out mini- magnifying glasses. This is the country of Agatha Christie and Sherlock Holmes. Have the girls look for stolen jewels. Leave clues, so they can be hot on the trail. Supper in Mexico Tacos would be a fun choice. After dinner, clear the area for the Mexican Hat Dance.

6 Girls love to dance! Maybe you want to spend the night in Mexico and have a pi ata party! Sunday Morning Destination Home you could end with a Tacky Tourist parade! Submitted by: Glenda Barrera - 43rd Edmonton Guides
