Project Number: Date: Catalog Number: Type: Overview Eaton BMS Pro 2 is a feature-rich, high performance protocol translator and wireless gateway which allows data exchange between Eaton's Greengate, iLumin and Fifth Light lighting control systems and the Building Automation Systems. The gateway converts Eaton's Greengate, iLumin and Fifth Light lighting control systems' protocols to BACnet/IP, BACnet MS/TP, Modbus TCP/IP, Modbus RTU and LON. This BTL Certified devices also hosts a BACnet Explorer client and a BACnet Broadcast Management Device (BBMD). The integrated BACnet Explorer eliminates the need for third party BACnet software packages and connectors to automatically discover BACnet devices and browse the BACnet networks for configuration and diagnostics. The BACnet BBMD allows data exchanges between BACnet subnets hence eliminating the need for an external BBMD.

2 Device. The BMS Pro 2 uses a 12-24V DC power input. As such it can be powered by the 24V DC power supplies available inside many Eaton's Lighting Control Panels or via a separate power supply (to be provided by others). A DIN rail mounting bracket is included with the gateway for easy mounting. 1. Only a subnet of Eaton's Lighting Control Panels include a 24 VDC power supply. Features Multi-protocol and lighting control systems support A single device that enables the integration of Eaton's Greengate, iLumin and Fifth Light system with third party system via BACnet/. IP, BACnet MS/TP, Modbus TCP/IP and Modbus RTU. Web-based Programming Interface The gateway's web-based user interface allows system integrators to easily program the gateway based on their needs. The installer selects the desired Eaton lighting control system and configure the gateway accordingly. Integrated BACnet Explorer The integrated BACnet explorer allows users to automatically discover the BACnet objects and associated properties exposed by the Eaton's lighting control system.

3 The user can browse, monitor and control the discovered devices and objects. Integrated BACnet Broadcast Management Device (BBMD). The integrated BBMD eliminates the need for an external BACnet Router to allow data exchange between two BACnet devices operating on different subnets. The BBMD will send any received broadcast messages as directed message through the IP router to its partner BBMD device.
