A small overview for a repair situation: Old version:HSG parts require only one pin. TOP and BOT HSG are glued to be fixed and cannot be reused. HSG parts will fit old and new version of prog service modules. If only replacing the hook/adapt, the old hooks & thin tube adapt must be chosen due to the visual look (tiny differences in outer dimensions).

3 If old HSG parts are replaced to new HSG parts, the hook and prog service module must be replaced to new version too. Old HSG parts, prog service module/ASM FRAME, hooks & thin tube adapt are now terminated. P/n s are removed from this Manual New version:HSG parts require two pins. TOP and BOT HSG are NOT glued and can be reused if not scratched. HSG parts will only fit new version of prog service modules due to the new module has two holes for the two pins. If replacing the hook/adapt, the new hooks/thin tube adapt must be chosen due to the visual look (tiny differences in outer dimensions). Open the batt door and lift up the service module from the bot HSG as shownRemove the hook by turning it counterclockwise. Pull it out. Locate the two pins holding top and bot HSG and push them out using a pin removal tool.
