As I begin this letter, some of you have had snow in your area! But, because we live in Las Vegas, we re lucky to be able to drive our Corvettes year round. So please take advantage of the open dates on the calendar. At the February meeting, Scarlett Montoya presented a great event, a tour of the Neon Sign Museum.

7 This event proved so popular that she filled up one tour and half of another one. There is still time to join, so I hope you re-sponded to the e- blast I sent out and contacted her, as we wouldn t want you to miss out. Please keep checking the website. It is always updated to keep you informed about what s happening in the club. I would like to thank Ken Rees and Marvin Maize for co-chairing Racer's Edge, Cindy Fuller for being Storekeeper, Ken Rees and Lanny Lowman for co-chairing Silver State Classic Challenge and keeping the tradition of supporting this race in our club. All of these people stepped up to participate and make our club better. Speaking of tradition, Ken saw my gavel on the podium and tossed it out to Scott, and then it went missing! Just one of the games the members like to play on the president. The bowling ball is still missing from last year, so whoever has it please return it, so it can have some fun this year.

9 Las Vegas Corvettes Association Recommendation for By-Laws/Standing Rules Change NONE Presented to membership Silver State Challenge May 16th to 19th & Sept. 12th to 15th Co-Chairs: Lanny Lowman Ken Rees Sunshine Benita Klaizner Nancy Ledwon had triple by-pass heart surgery, and that she is home and doing very well, also that February 1st was Nancy and Dennis 55th wedding anni-versary. Karen and Ed Anderson cele-brated their 54th wedding anniversary on February 6th. Scott White is getting married. Marsha Borders thanks every-one for their calls while she was sick last week. Sheryl and Rudy Bloom lost their dog to a sudden illness. And Benita and Jerry Klaizner will be celebrating their 36th wedding anniversary February 25th. There were 38 members and 3 guests present. Bonnie wel-comed all that were in attendance. President Bonnie Corbett led us in the pledge of alle-giance. Findlay Chevrolet: Slim Stephens was not in attendance due to a case of the flu. We all wish him well. A motion to approve the January, 2019 meeting minutes Sharron Grodzinsky made a motion to approve as presented and Ken Ackeret seconded. The motion carried and was approved. Lennard Grodzinsky was approved at the Board meeting to be part of the Audit committee. Birthdays for February were read by Lin Hoernke. President s Report: Bonnie announce that Lanny Lowman and Ken Rees would be co-chairs of the open road races.
