Few active men realize the responsibility for the futurewell-being of our Fraternity which rests upon the undergraduatemembers. New men are chosen by the undergraduates; new men aretaught the lessons of our Fraternity by the undergraduates.
2 And newmen perceive the ceremony of initiation from their classmates, that hour there is to be inculcated in the minds of the ini-tiates a rule of life that has its foundation in the philosophies oftime philosophies that have lived through the ages because they tellthe fundamentals of true brotherhood, out of which the Founders ofour Fraternity chose the ideals to which we initiation is a golden opportunity that needs preparation ofthe heart and mind in order that the truths we have to present will befixed in the hearts of the initiates, and there to be held for the rest oftheir lives.
3 To accomplish this requires the faithful, sincere, andearnest effort on the part of every man in the RITUAL of our Fraternity is not a once-in-a-year ultimate effect and beauty only become a reality in the expres-sion of true brotherhood when it is used to the fullest extent at everychapter not the heart of our Fraternity be lost by the self-imposed lim-itation of time and place!4R I TUA L5R I TUA LEnactmentTHE RITUALis part of the Law of the Fraternity.
