City Gate Drive - Going on Now Your Social Ministry committee is holding a drive to help restock the kitchen at the City Gate Mission in Coatesville. City Gate is a Christian mission that serves the Coatesville community, families of incarcerated men, and the men themselves while they are imprisoned, when they are preparing for release, and after release as they adapt to life back in the community with their families.

5 Most needed now are: 20 oz soup bowls 8 oz Styrofoam cups 9 in Styrofoam plates Please place your donations in the City Gate bin in the hallway and look for the poster showing our progress toward our goal of filling an Olympic size swimming pool. Thank you for your continuing support! Save the Date! Get Shipwrecked w/ St. Pauls' VBS 2018! St. Paul's VBS is July 23-27 and registration is underway. We have our ice cream social at 6:30pm on July 22nd and a closing program at 7pm on July 27th. All VBS participants are invited to sing in church on Sunday the 29th at our 9:30am service. VBS runs 9am to 12:00 each day. Parents and church members: if you are able to volunteer during this week, please let us know! For adults, we have open volunteer positions as grade-level leaders and station leads. Students in grades 6-12 are invited to volunteer as grade-level assistants or station assistants.

6 Volunteer positions will be filled on a first come/first serve basis. For more information or to sign up as a volunteer, email Anne Wiest at or Leah Skriletz at Child Registration/Volun. Registration forms are in our newsletter, the hall, and our website. We need many items to host this many children; please consider taking a donation tag or two from the narthex to provide many-needed items. Registration cut-off date is June 29th. This year our VBS participants are making Jesus banks. For this project we need one Pringles chip canister per participant. Consider donating as many Pringles chip canisters as possible! Bring them into church and leave in the narthex hallway; a box labeled VBS will be placed under the table. We are finished collecting water bottles - Thank you so much! Upcoming Habitat Dates Build Date is scheduled for Saturday, 6/30. Let Brian Parks know if you re interested.

7 Attention: Jr Troupe Theater Workshop is a week-long event for youth who have finished 1st thru 5th grades. It will be the week of August 13-17th. We are also looking for older youth and adult helpers. Contact Julie Sanders or Mrs. L. There will be a kick-off meeting on August 12th, with evening rehearsals from Monday, thru Friday, August 17th. The 20-minute performance will be after the 9:30 service on Sun., August 19th. Registration forms are in the hall. Thursday Theology at Wegman s - still meeting We meet once a month for the summer on the first Thursday morning at 9:30am at Wegman s. All are welcome. If you have questions, contact Pat Tilghman. We will go back to the 1st and 3rd Thursday mornings in fall. (Next meeting: Thursday, July 5th) 3 Adapted Sports Biking every Sunday! The Program is underway from 1-3pm Exton Park, 140 Church Farm Lane, Exton, weather permitting. Volunteers who are able can come at 12:30 to help unpack the trailer and get bikes ready for the 1:00 pm start.

Quilting Bees Scheduled Thursdays, July 12th and August 9th. 2 summer quilting bees have been scheduled this summer from 9:30--12 in Fellowship Hall on July 12th and August 9th. Women s INC Event - Thur, July 19th Ladies, join us for a historical evening at Historic Yellow Springs on Thursday, July 19th, for a lecture tour. The program is Industry Rebels: Women at Yellow Springs. In the 18th through 20th centuries, when women s sphere of domesticity was hearth to cradle, there were women who were stepping up in innovative ways to defy stereotypes of proper female behavior and exhibiting their powerful and multifaceted competence.
