2 You must submit an official transcript from each college or university you have ever attended in order to be considered for admission. Applicants who have earned 8 or fewer semester hours or 12 or fewer quarter hours from a college or university must meet both Transfer and freshman admission standards. Applicants who are denied admission because the cumulative GPA is lower than a will be sent a Personal Statement form, which can be used to request consideration by the Admissions Review Board for admission to MTSU on a probationary basis.

3 The decision of the Admissions Review Board in such cases is final. If you have earned less than 9 semester hours or 12 quarter hours of college credit, an official high school transcript and ACT scores (or SAT scores) must be submitted. ACT or SAT scores are not required for applicants who are 21 years of age or older. If you have completed less than 60 semester hours of college work, and graduated from high school in 1989 or after, you must submit an official high school transcript.
