Rainfall will damage freshly appliedmaterial. Minimum recommended ambient air temperatureduring application: 40 F (4 C) and rising. Maximum allowedsurface temperature during application: 110 F (43 C).SURFACE PREPARATION:Concrete: Surface shall be dry, free of dust, oil, bitumen, cur-ing agents, form release agents, and other strength: 2,500 psi (17237 kPa), minimum. Theconcrete shall have a light steel trowel finish followed by anatural hairbroom to render a uniform granular texture. Newconcrete must cure 28 days minimum by either water, burlapor polyethylene cure , shotblast, or scarify existing concrete to assure thesubstrate is free of contamination and it has the proper surfacetexture to assure adhesion of the Trem-Lar the dry condition of the concrete with a rubber mattest. After taping the mat to the concrete for at least 24 hours,no liquid water droplets should be present on the undersideof the mat.

A valid test requires the concrete be warmed bythe sun during the :Clean metal surfaces of paint, oils, rust, and other /PREPARATORY WORK: Priming for Detail Course: Prime concrete detail areas with AlphaGuard C-Prime prior to application of Trem-Lar primer to fully dry prior to application of Trem-Lar penetrations:Provide a 1 x 1 (25 x 25mm) cant ofTrem-Lar LRM-V at parapet walls, columns, stacks, etc. InstallTrem-Lar LRM as a flashing to the specified height Extendflashing 6 (150mm) onto horizontal surface. Coating thick-ness: 60 mils ( ) (wet).Cracks of 1/16 ( ) or less:Pretreat shrinkage and non-moving structural cracks with Trem-Lar LRM applied at a thick-ness of 60 mils ( ) (wet) 3 (75mm) either side of of 1/16 ( ) or greater:Rout all cracks, movingstructural joints, and cold joints to 1/4 wide x 1/2 ( ) deep.

Insert a 3/8 ( ) closed-cell polyethylenebacker rod. Recess backer rod 1/8 ( ) from surface. Fillrecess with Trem-Lar LRM applied at a thickness of 60 mils( ) (wet) 3 (75mm) either side of the crack/joint. Propertreatment of expansion joints is critical. AlphaGuard C-Prime mustdry tack free (6 to 8 hours at 75 F (24 C) and 50% ) priorto application of Trem-Lar LRM.

Open time of AlphaGuard C-Prime is 72 hours after tack free cure. Trem-Lar LRM must beapplied within the open time. If open time is exceeded, sub-strate must first be mechanically abraded, then , prime concrete substrates with Tremlar LRM-Hthinned with toluene at a rate of 32 oz. toluene per gallon ofTrem-Lar LRM-H. Apply the thinned Trem-Lar LRM-H to theclean, dry surface at a coverage rate of 1 gal/SQ ( L/m2)Allow to dry 1 hour minimum and apply the specified cover-age of Trem-Lar LRM-H (must be applied the same day).Priming Trem-Lar LRM: If Trem-Lar LRM has been applied andcured in excess of 48 hours and an additional coat of Trem-LarLRM must be applied, prime the existing Trem-Lar LRM with Ge-oGard Primer. Apply Trem-Lar LRM while GeoGard Primer is : Apply Trem-Lar LRM-H directly to surface bysqueegee and cross-roll with a long nap roller to a uniform thick-ness.

Overlap previous day s work 6 (150mm) : 25 ft2/gal. ( ) per coat Test: Allow membrane to cure 36 hours minimum(75 F (24 C) @ 60% RH). Longer cure times will be requiredat lower temperatures and/or to placement of protective surfacing, water test appliedarea. Block drains and provide perimeter dams. Flood testarea with water for 48 hours. Do not exceed deck design loadrequirements during water Time: 24 hours at 75 F (24 C), 50% RH. Longer curetimes will result at lower temperatures and/or lower relative : Use Xylene or Toluene to remove Trem-Lar LRMfrom equipment before cure. Precautions: Users must read and follow container labels andMaterial Safety Data Sheets for instructions for health andsafety precautions prior to and during and Cost:Contact your local Tremco RoofingRepresentative for pricing and availability.
