3 37 Managing IP in the IP Innovation Cloud computing plays an increasingly important role in the operations of organizations of all sizes and in all industries around the world. While cost reduction is still a top priority, scalability, mobility, connectivity, and business agility have stepped to the forefront for decision makers. The Cloud offers all this and more. A digital transformation is taking place in the business world. Anticipated growth of artificial intelligence (AI) applications and the Internet of Things (IoT) means the demands on computing resources are increasing at a pace that makes it hard for enterprises to keep up.
