Until they complete the same, they will not be entitled for permanent registration. 2 However the candidates, in their own interest, must satisfy themselves about their eligibility for the Test / admission to relevant courses. The information furnished by candidate, if any, in the CET- 2017 online application form would be available for review by the candidate concerned; however the candidate must attend document verification by KEA in case any information furnished earlier is edited. If the information furnished by the candidates in the application form or any other document/s submitted by the candidates / parents are found to be false / incorrect / tampered / forged such candidate's seat will be cancelled at any point of time during his / her course of study and proceedings as per rules will be initiated by KEA against the candidate.
4 All candidates are directed to see the website of KEA atleast twice every day for updates. Likewise the instruction / information will also be sent to the mobile number furnished by the candidates in the online application form. KEA or the Government shall not be responsible for any action / consequence resulting due to non-diligent follow up of notices, notifications and publications appearing on the KEA website by the Candidates. Mere qualifying in NEET- 2017 does not confer any right on the candidate unless the candidate fulfills eligibility conditions / submission of certificates. 6 05-08- 2017 before pm College Joining Confirmation report: The College Authority will have to login to their College Login-ID and report that the respective candidate has joined the College and candidate should also enter the details of their admission on Joining status on the KEA Web portal on or before 07-08- 2017 . NOTE on participation of candidates for Verification of documents at Helpline Centres: Schedule for Verification of Documents will be hosted on 10-07- 2017 . The verification of documents will be conducted Only at Bangalore, Mysore, Mangalore, Shimoga, Davangere, Belgaum, Dharward, Bellary and Gulbarga Helpline Centres. Candidates can attend the verification in any of the Helpline centres detailed above. However, the Non-Karnataka and NRI candidates have to attend verification only at Bangalore. The details of the Helpline centre are hosted on the KEA Website. All NEET UG- 2017 qualified candidates are allowed for participating in the allotment of UG Medical / Dental seats as per the eligibility & reservation criteria for the respective category of seats which is detailed in the subsequent pages.
7 These seats are classified into four categories. 1st Category (G): Government seats, means and includes seats in Government colleges and Government share of seats in Private colleges. (to the candidates who are Eligible under CET-2006 admission rules) 2nd Category (P): Private seats, means and includes seats in Private Colleges (KPCF (COMED-K), AMPCK, KRLMPCA) 3rd Category (N): NRI seats (KPCF (COMED-K), AMPCK, KRLMPCA) 4th Category (O): Other seats (KPCF (COMED-K), AMPCK, KRLMPCA) NOTE: 1. KEA has already conducted the document verification to the candidates as per CET-2006 Admission Rules. All such candidates who are holding verification slip need not attend the document verification once again. However, if any such candidate is eligible to claim Private seats, Minority, NRI seats then they have to submit the relevant certificates / documents as per the schedule.
8 (Please read the following pages regarding eligibility and documents required for different category of seats) 2. The candidates who fulfills the eligibility conditions laid down in CET-2006 admission rules and have qualifying score in NEET- 2017 but not attended the earlier document verification can attend the verification with all the necessary documents / certificates as per the schedule. 4 3. Other candidates (non-Karnataka candidates) who have qualifying score in NEET- 2017 have to appear for verification of documents as per the schedule with all the necessary documents. Candidature is purely provisional and subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria as mentioned in the NEET-UG- 2017 Information Bulletin, further the provisional admission made is subject to approval of MCI / DCI / Government / Competent Authority / Universities etc. Mere registering or verifying the documents does not confer any right to the candidates for admission to Karnataka UG Medical and Dental courses.
9 ONE TIME OPTION ENTRY: The options entered by the candidate for the first round will remain same for the subsequent round of seat allotment. The candidates will not be allowed to enter options again. Option Entry done before the first round will be the final list of options. The priority of options entered by the candidate will be shown on the option entry module by obtaining the candidate credentials in the subsequent round. Candidate may delete or alter order of higher options. The candidate will be allowed to add new options for any colleges and course that came into the seat matrix after the first round. A candidate may have option to select Medical / Engineering etc; seat in other boards like JEE, MCC, COMED-K and KEA etc. In case such candidate wishes to confirm the seat selected from other boards then such candidate who has also been allotted a seat through KEA has to surrender the seat allotted by KEA before the last date fixed for modifying of options of Second Round of seat allotment, failing which it may amount to blocking of seat and KEA may initiate action / proceedings against such candidates.
10 If a candidate decides to surrender the seat, he / she has to surrender the seat only to KEA in writing. Merely not reporting to the selected / allotted college should not be presumed by the candidate that he / she have surrendered the seat to KEA. Please read the refund and forfeiture conditions detailed in this brochure carefully given in the subsequent pages. No requests for Mutual Transfer of seats will be entertained by KEA at any point of time. Reservation of seats in certain categories such as SC, ST, OBC, PH, Rural, Kannada etc and in Special Categories such as NCC, Sports etc is applicable only to Karnataka Origin candidates who are eligible for Government Quota seats. Eligibility for Persons with Disability PWD (applicable only for Karnataka candidates) 1. The PWD (lower limb) seat allotment will be done based on the percentage of disability decided by the Medical Board. The decision of the Medical Board is final in all respects.
