Using Newton’s Laws of Motion To Explain How Rockets Work
Sir Isaac Newton, who in 1687 published a book entitled “Philosophiae Naturalis Principia Mathematica,” which de-scribed physical principles of nature. Because of its great his-torical significance, today the book is simply called the Principia. It is important to understand these three laws, as every-thing about model rocketry is based them.
