2 Handover Process The legal notice list can be used for approval for hand overs Compile the list and give to your Dr for approval Once approved, follow these steps: o Print the invoice statement with the notebook history on each account to be handed over to the Debt Collectors o Journalize your account as Bad Debt , reason: Handed Over o Your account will change to a zero balance account, which will no longer have a negative impact on your age analysis o The account status will change to Handed Over and will populate a note in the notebook indicating Bad debt was done with date and rand value.
