6 P&G HyderabadHyderabad is the capital and largest city of the southern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, with a population of more than s Hyderabad Plant is a multi-business-unit hub, led by Fabric & Home in 2014, the 172-acre site will be the first mega-site in Asia, with production for Fabric & Home Care, Oral Care, Baby Care, Feminine Care, Hair Care and Skin do you do when you have a 24-hour production schedule, with workforce availability being largely restricted to the day shift?For the plant s Human Resources team, the answer was clear from the outset: create a safe & secure working environment for all employees and provide training to ensure that all employees, including women, felt included & P&G s manufacturing plant in Hyderabad, India, the P&G team had worked diligently to attract local women to the workforce, recognizing the importance of gender diversity as a competitive advantage.

7 However, due to government concerns over the safety of women, women were only permitted to work around a day shift the plant s Human Resources team, the answer was clear from the outset: create a safe and secure working environment for all employees and provide training to ensure that all employees, including women, felt included and s plant leadership worked in close partnership with the state government, demonstrating to government officials that it was possible for women to work night shifts without compromising safety. Through this positive and proactive collaboration with the local government, P&G helped women in Hyderabad to share their unique talents and skills on all work Hyderabad serves as a benchmark for gender diversity in India. For the first time ever in the history of P&G India, over 30% of shift work is now managed by women.

8 P&G Celebrates Sponsor Day in PakistanIn The Know: P&G FlexiCenterOpened in August 2011, P&G s FlexiCenter is a packaging customization center for Tampax, a feminine protection conducted this initiative in concert with the Maine Bureau of Rehabilitation Services and Department of Health & Human facility is located in Auburn, Maine, a town of approximately 23,000 you find world-class athletes in unexpected places. The atmosphere at the FlexiCenter provides individuals with disabilities with the opportunity to perform at their peak every the chance to compete at the highest levels of her sport enabled Kala to set yet another goal and to channel her energies in a positive direction toward traveling to South Korea, her friends and colleagues, P&G Facebook friends and P&G Twitter followers sent her off with well wishes and a celebratory party at the Auburn site in recognition of all her hard work to reach this point. At the end of January 2013, facing tough competition on a South Korean ski slope, Kala earned the silver medal in cross-country skiing, proving once again the value of diversity for every individual and the personal best of this athlete at her peak s drive to overcome the difficult challenges of a disability has a special meaning for all of us at P&G, as an ongoing supporter of the Special Olympics.
