The client s income and/or assets may be used to determine eligibility. Assistance navigating complex social and health care programs is available to everyone. AAAs research and evaluate elderly issues, and offer community education to senior adults, caregivers , students and the community at large. We have extensive information on the needs of seniors as well as the services that can meet those needs. AAAs serve as an advocate for older individuals. Area Agencies administer programs and services for frail elderly and caregivers . services for clients with Alzheimer s and other and equipment that provide respite (a rest) for Resource Centers and the CHOICES Program (Medicare, healthinsurance and general information) programs that offer an alternative to nursing home care management to identify resources for clients with income orassets above eligibility for state programs.
