2 Data includes population andlabor force levels, wages, and complete industry and occupational profiles based on both state and national data. ExpandingIf you are laying off workers or anticipating abusiness closure, there are services availablewithin your State and local area to help you in transitioning your workers. The AWN Toll-Free Help Line can provide you with the following: Referrals to your State Rapid ResponseDislocated Worker Unit, which can provideyou with information about services such as Rapid Response which may be availableto your business. Information about alternatives that may be available to help your business avoid or reduce a layoff. Your company may beeligible for a variety of assistance, depending upon your situation.
