Sixty-nine percent of New York s beneficiaries are enrolled in a managed care program. The State s Medicaid program is administered by the Office of Health Insurance programs (OHIP) under the Department of Health. The State s CHIP program, Child Health Plus, is separate from Medicaid and enrolls an additional 365,000 children.
