Legislation The Government's Work Safely Protocol addresses the measures needed to both ensure the safe operation of workplaces and the reopening of workplaces following temporary closure due to local and regional restrictions. Managers are required to review and update their risk assessments to ensure the control measures in place are adequate to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the workplace. All managers should check on a daily basis to keep informed of up to date information and advice. The following non-exhaustive list of prompts has been updated in response to the Government's Work Scope: Safely Protocol (November 2020) which describes the steps that must be taken in order to reduce the risk of the spread of COVID-19 in the workplace.
