PURPOSE. This DIRECTIVE : a. Reissues DoD DIRECTIVE (DoDD) (Reference (a)) to establish policy and assign responsibilities to provide an overarching framework for addressing unlawful discrimination and promoting equal opportunity, diversity, and inclusion through: (1) The DoD Diversity and Inclusion Management Program, in accordance with the authority in Executive Order 13583 (Reference (b) ).
