The purpose of the overall MANUAL , in accordance with the authority in DoD Directive (DoDD) and DoD Instruction (DoDI) (References (a) and (b)), is to implement policy established in DoDI (Reference (c)), assign responsibilities, and provide procedures for DoD ID cards. b.
