August 2017 Definitions Policy Agency for Health Care Administration August 2017 Florida Medicaid Florida Medicaid Definitions Policy August 2017 1 Introduction This policy contains definitions of commonly used terms that are applicable to all sections of Rule Division 59G, Florida Administrative Code ( ), unless specifically stated otherwise in a service-specific coverage policy or rule. This policy is intended for use by all providers that render services to Florida Medicaid recipients. This policy must be used in conjunction with Florida Medicaid s general policies and any applicable service-specific and claim reimbursement policies with which providers must comply.
