ITU would like to acknowledge and thank all partners and contributors for their hard work and commitment in providing support to the GCI, and more importantly, helping to advance our collective understanding of Cybersecurity would like to especially highlight the contributions received through ITU-D Study Group 2, and the Telecommunication Development Bureau (BDT) Management Consultation Group, and their work on changes to the GCI questionnaire.
The Global Cybersecurity Index reveals that cybersecurity is truly a developmental issue, and that there is an urgent need to address the growing cybercapacity gap between developed and developing countries by fostering knowledge, upskilling, and building competencies.
