Global Opportunities & Exchanges. Study Abroad Programme Frequently Asked Questions Spend a year studying in Australia, Canada, China, Hong Kong, India, Korea, New Zealand, Singapore or the USA. What is Study Abroad? Our Study Abroad Programme gives you the opportunity to study at one of our exchange partner institutions in Australia, Canada, China, Hong Kong, India, Korea, New Zealand, Singapore or the USA for an academic year. A semester is currently not an option on this programme. Who can apply? In principle; any student who is a current first year undergraduate (or second year if on a 4 year degree) Exceptions: Journalism and Psychology are not allowed to apply due to academic restrictions. The School of Law and East Asian Studies have their own exchange programme. Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing and Midwifery students will have the option via the Medical Elective Programmes in the faculty. How many places are available on the Study Abroad Programme?
