These are CEDAR -Apple Rust ( GYMNOSPORANGIUM juniperi-virginianae), CEDAR -Hawthorn Rust ( GYMNOSPORANGIUM globosum), and CEDAR -Quince Rust ( GYMNOSPORANGIUM clavipes). These rust fungi are heteroecious, meaning that they require two different hosts to complete their life cycles.
