Allein in Europa wurden bereits mehr als Lebertransplantationen durchgef hrt. Die mittlerweile gro e Erfahrung belegen 5- Jahres- berlebensraten von durchschnittlich 80%. 1. Indikationen Die Indikation zur Lebertransplantation ist generell im Endstadium einer Leberzirrhose gegeben (Tabelle1). An erster Stelle stehen Zirrhosen viraler (Hepatitis B und C) und aethyltoxischer Genese, gefolgt von cholestatischen (PBC, PSC), autoimmunen und Stoffwechselkrankheiten der Leber.
