Hunting on all DEC- owned lands and DEC cooperative Hunting Areas in Suffolk County requires a Managed Lands Access Permit and at times a daily Permit . cooperative Hunting Areas are Managed by the DEC to provide hunting opportunities. Activities other than hunting on cooperative Hunting Areas, are Managed by the landowner and are not covered by this Permit . This Access Permit must be carried at all times while on the property and a copy of the Managed Land Parking Permit must be visible on the dashboard of your vehicle while you are on the property. Children under 12 do not require a Managed Land Access Permit if accompanied by an adult with an Access Permit .
