The Precede-proceed model is used both for delivery programs in practice settings and when conducting behavior change interventions. The model offers a framework within which individual level theories, Community level theories, interpersonal communication, interactive technologies media campaigns and grass roots organizing can be utilized.
2 Reinforcing Factors – factors that following a behavior provide continued reward or incentive for repetition of that behavior – social support, peer influence, family influence. 3 Enabling Factors - antecedents to behavioral or environmental change that allow a motivation or environmental policy to be realized.
