That’s why the DCF Office of Resilience was created and it’s why I’m here. I have lived experience in trauma. I have five adult children, 19 grandchildren and one great grandchild. My wife and I are both . former foster parents. We have adopted a child out of the system, and we have placed a biological child into the system for adoption.
