region using class-specific linear SVMs. R-CNN achieves a mean average precision (mAP) of 53.7% on PASCAL VOC 2010. For comparison, [39] reports 35.1% mAP using the same region pro-posals, but with a spatial pyramid and bag-of-visual-words ap-proach. The popular deformable part models perform at 33.4%.

A Practitioner’s Guide to Cluster-Robust Inference
cameron.econ.ucdavis.eduIn this paper, we consider statistical inference in regression models where observations can be grouped into clusters, with model errors uncorrelated across clusters but correlated within cluster. One leading example of “clustered errors” is in dividual-level cross-section data with clustering on geographical region, such as village or state.
Introduction to log-linear models
personal.psu.eduTwo-way Log-linear models Given two categorical random variables, A and B, there are two main models we will consider: • Independence model, (A,B) • Saturated model, (AB) Objective: Model the cell counts: µij = nπij Main assumption: The N = IJ counts in the cells are assumed to be independent observations of a Poisson random variable.

Mixed Model Analysis of Variance
psych.wisc.eduvariable is stronger at one level of the other independent variable than at the second level of that same independent variable. A mixed model ANOVA tests whether each of the three effects—the two main effects and the interaction effect—is statistically significant. These three effects can be obtained with the following statistical models:
