Tutorial: Delayed Coking Fundamentals - Campus Tour
Atmospheric Distillation The desalted crude oil is heated in a tube furnace to over 385 °C (725 °F), just below the temperature that cracking of the oil can occur, then flashed into a distillation column. The primary products are straight run gasoline, kerosene, jet fuel, diesel, atmospheric gas oil (AGO) and atmospheric reduced crude.
