In terms of the underlying purposes, the four aspects of a research design and the above features, it can be seen that the generic inductive approach is most similar to the Grounded Theory approach. This is because the Grounded Theory approach also aims to provide a conceptual approach to action and changes in real life situations (Glaser, 1992).
