1 VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY Security Receptionist Department/Division: Security Unit, Agency Support Division Workplace Address: 2102 W. Encanto Blvd. Phoenix, AZ 85009 Number of Hours/Week: Flexible would prefer a minimum of 8 hours per week. Days of Work Week: Generally VOLUNTEER help is needed Tuesday through Thursday. Occasionally, help is also needed on Monday or Friday. Start/End Hours: Flexible between 8:00 to 5:00 Position Description: This position involves providing assistance to visitors and employees, answering telephones and receiving visitors, logging visitors and contractors into the Visitor Management System Computer, resolving alarm calls and dispatching Security personnel as appropriate.
2 Qualifications: Apply active listening techniques in order to obtain complete and accurate information. Demonstrate the principles of proper English sentence structure, spelling, grammar and punctuation, to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing for the purpose of obtaining and disseminating information. Establish and maintain courteous and effective working relationships with others. The ability to use a personal computer.
