Revenue Audit Manual Direct Taxes

Tax Act, 1961 and Income Tax Rules, 1962 have been revised/amended or rescinded during last two and half decades. Even the Wealth Tax Act, 1957 and Gift Tax Act, 1958 have been abolished. Therefore, it is not feasible to incorporate such changes in the Revenue Audit Manual, as it is an ongoing process.
