In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of KARNATAKA hereby makes the following RULES , namely :- PART I GENERAL. 1. Title and Commencement :-(1) These RULES may be called the KARNATAKA CIVIL SERVICES RULES . 1[xxx]. (2) They shall come into force from the first day of April 1958. 2.
