Two tunnels are installed at the booster region of the test bed. Each length is 550m and 323m respectively and both tunnels are comparatively short.

2 The 34o slanted portals are constructed at both entrance and exit of the 550m tunnel whereas the 34o slanted portal at the exit and the tunnel hood at the entrance of 323m tunnel for the reduction of the micro-pressure wave. In this study, micro-pressure waves at the tunnel exit are measured with a maximum speed of 405km/h and the performances of the tunnel entrance hood are verified for the first time in Korea.
