Enroll for 2-Factor Authentication The first time you access the LVHN Network from an Off-site computer, you will be required to enroll in 2-Factor authentication.

2 This is a one-time process that provides the ability to enroll a smartphone to receive SMS text messaging. Enrolling a smartphone for SMS text validation is a multi-step process, but once enrolled, the validation code is sent automatically to the colleague s device each time the LVHN Network access is requested. 1. Double-click the internet explorer icon on your desktop. If you are on a Windows 10 machine, you can also use the Microsoft Edge browser to initially connect. 2. 3 If you are using the Edge browser, click the button with the three dots (..) in the upper-right corner and click Open with internet explorer . 5. Enter your LVHN user ID (ex. b1234 or P9876) and password and click Sign In. 6. After entering the login ID and password, the Challenge/Response screen appears. Enter S (without the quotes) in the Response field and click Sign In. 7. Enter the phone number of the mobile device to send the SMS validation messages to, without dashes, spaces or parenthesis in the Response field. Click Sign In. 8. Confirm the mobile device number provided is correct by entering a Y , and clicking Sign In.

4 If the number needs to be corrected, enter an N , click Sign In and return to Step 7. 9. You will receive a text message containing a validation code. After successfully registering your phone, the next time you go to and log in, you ll see the Challenge/Response screen. Type an S in Response and click Sign In. A text message with a validation code will be sent to the registered phone number; enter the code in the Response field and click Sign In. 11. If you have logged into LVHN from this PC before and are not prompted to install a newer version of the client software, skip to step 13.

5 12. When you click the Sign In button, you may be prompted to install - or update Juniper client software, Network Connect client software and Citrix Receiver software. Allow these to install. (Depending on the version of Windows, the version of internet explorer and your security settings, the prompts may be at the top or bottom of your screen, and may be different from those shown.) a. Click Install. b. After clicking Install , you may be prompted to run or save a file. Click Run. c. If you see a Security pop-up asking permission to allow the setup file to run, click Allow . d. When the installation completes, click Close.

Click Always . f. You may be prompted to allow the ActiveX content to run. Click Allow . 13. If Network Connect has installed and you have logged in successfully you should see the icon below in your System Tray in the lower-right hand corner of your screen next to the time. 14. At this point, you have successfully connected to the LVHN Network and have logged in. 15. Click on the Citrix NFuse link to see a menu of the applications you can launch.

For example, to launch TLC (or TLC NE), click on either the name or the schoolhouse icon. Do not click or type anything else; you will be automatically logged into TLC. Other applications may or may not automatically log you in. 17. Once you have finished working you will need to close out of the application, then close out of the NFuse Applications screen by selecting the red X in the upper right hand corner. 18. You will be redirected back to the main Network Connect page. Click Sign Out in the upper-right corner or close the window.
