Switch housing heated grip connector12. Reposition the clutch lever housing aligning theclutch lever housing split line with thealignment mark on the handlebar.

Ensure the grip is in the orientation shownbelow with the switch contacts facing the the new grip with the two Torx headself-tapping screws provided in the kit. 7 Detach the brake light switch and bracket fromthe master cylinder. Retain the fixing for the two fixings and detach the switchhousing from the handlebars. Withoutdisconnecting any wiring, move the switchhousing clear of the handlebar. Retain thefixings for Brake light switch fixing2. Brake light switch and bracket3. Switch housing fixings4. Release the fixings and remove the clamp fromthe master cylinder. Detach the mastercylinder from the handlebars and support it inan upright Twist grip position sensor fixings2. Ensure theheated grip remains correctly fitted to theposition Position the master cylinder onto thehandlebars ensuring the locating lug fits intoits hole in the Master cylinder locating lug28. Fit the master cylinder clamp and tighten thefixings, upper one first, to 12 Fit the switch housing to the master cylinderwith the original fixings. Tighten the fixings Refit the brake light switch and bracket to themaster cylinder with the original fixing. Tightenthe fixing to Brake light switch fixing2. Brake light switch and bracket3. Reconnect the battery, positive (red) lead firstand tighten the battery terminals to Refit the seat, as described in the Refit the left hand bar end mirror if fitted and/or bar end finisher, as described in the ServiceManual.

Refit the right hand bar end mirror if fittedand/or bar end finisher with the spacer whereapplicable, as described in the Service Carefully check that the twist grip rotatessmoothly through its full range of movement,and is not restricted in any way.
