To obtain additional copies of any Triumphaccessory Instructions , visit or contact yourauthorised Triumph : There are alternative design pannier kitsavailable in Waxed Cotton, Leather or Nylonmaterial. The installation of the pannier kit isthe same for all variants. The instructionsbelow show the leather Rail InstallationNote: When an Accessory High Level Exhaust Kit isfitted to Street Twin models the left handpannier rail lower fixing requires additionalcomponents. A bolt M8 x 43 mm (T3202325) and M8 washer(T3550405) must be obtained from anauthorised Triumph Dealership and the flangedsleeve from the original exhaust fixings mustbe recovered for reuse.

7 For all models with the standard exhaustsystem fitted follow steps 1 to 8. For StreetTwin and Street Cup models with the AccessoryHigh Level Exhaust Kit fitted follow steps 1, 2and 9 to the left hand side rear suspension unittop fixing screw and washer. Retain thewasher for reuse. Discard the Rear suspension unit, left hand WarningThe Accessory kits covered in this instruction aredesigned for use on specific models of Triumphmotorcycle. The Accessory kits and the modelsapplicable are listed at the start of the should not be fitted to any other Triumphmodel or to any other manufacturer s an Accessory kit to a Triumph model notlisted, or to any other manufacturer s motorcyclewill affect the performance, stability and handlingof the motorcycle.

Fit one of the M8 x 20 mmbolts from the kit and the original washer tohold the pannier rail in position. Do not fullytighten the fixing at this Pannier rail, left hand2. WasherPannier rail lower fixing, Standard Exhaust Fitted(Street Twin, Street Cup, Bonneville and Thruxton) the left hand rear footpeg, asdescribed in the Service Manual.

10 Retain thefootpeg assembly for the rear footpeg mounting bracketlock nut. Do not remove the footpeg mountingbracket, screw, flanged sleeve or rubber the lock the rear footpeg mounting bracket andfixings in position, fit the pannier rail onto thescrew. Secure with a new lock nut from the the rear footpeg mounting bracketscrew to 24 Pannier rail, left hand2. Rear footpeg mounting bracket3. Screw, footpeg mounting bracket4. Lock the left hand rear footpeg assembly, asdescribed in the Service the pannier rail top fixing to 28 steps 1 to 7 for the right hand 34213412315 of 19 Pannier rail lower fixing, Accessory High Level Exhaust Fitted (Street Twin, Street Cup only)Note: The original footrest finisher bolt will not havea washer underneath the the footrest finisher, bolt and lock the finisher for reuse, retain the bolt forreuse if the motorcycle is to be returned to itsoriginal condition.
