ASPEN OneLiner . Version Update This maintenance release contains fixes for all known bugs to date, plus some program improvements. You have been given a link to download the setup program You can run this setup to Update an existing installation or to create a new OneLiner v14 installation. Please write to in English in Spanish and Portuguese) or call us (650-347-3997) if you have questions. Program Improvements between Versions and The Check | Relay Settings command has been improved and automated: Now you can check the relay settings on multiple lines in a network. See dialog box below. The output of this command is a single CSV file if you selected The line protected by the selected relay group option.

Otherwise, the output consists of a summary file plus CSV. report files, one for each line. We added some new features since : For a distance relay, the program faults the low-side buses of remote 2- and -3 winding transformers to make sure no zone is tripped. Also, at the end of the report, the program lists all the segments of the study line. For each segment, the program shows the positive- and zero- sequence impedances, the K factor, and the length. We also added a comments field to let you to enter any text that will appear at the very beginning of each line-report file. What's New in ASPEN OneLiner 1. The Check | Relay Operations using Stepped Events command has been improved and automated.

Now you can perform relay coordination checking of relays on multiple lines in a network. See dialog box below. The output of this command consists of a summary file plus report files, one for each line. We added some new features since : The coordinating time interval (CTI) is shown for up to 10 backup relays. Previously, only one CTI associated with one backup relay is shown. The maximum number of events is now set to 10, up from 4. This allows you to see additional mis- operations. We also added a feature to check package-A and package-B relays. You can designate any relay as a package-B relay by giving it a special tag in the Relay tab of the File | Preferences command.

Relays without this tag is considered to be package-A. When the package option is enabled in the Check | Relay Checking Parameters dialog box, this command will first check all the relays (package A+B) on the study line. It will then check package-A-relays-only, and package-B-relays-only cases. We also added a comments field to let you to enter any text that will appear at the very beginning of each line-report file. New built-in manufacturer-specific distance relay types: SEL411G__, SEL411P__, 7SD52__, 7SD53__, P442__, P543P__, P543G__, P545P__, P545G__, RED670P__, RED670G__, PCS-902ex__. New and improved setting import logic scripts for relays: SEL-351S, SEL-411, REL670, L90: The new scripts take into account relevant device configuration and logic data in the file to pick out correct setting of OC and DS functions to import into OneLiner relays.

Enhanced distance relay types L90P__ and L90G__ to support up to 5 distance zones. What's New in ASPEN OneLiner 2. An experimental build of a Python-based scripting engine is available. Please call our tech support if you want to try out this new scripting engine. New options in the Primary/Backup Coordination Check command: The command for checking relay coordination using primary/backup pairs has been significantly enhanced. You can now select faults that will be performed on the primary line. See the check boxes at the lower left corner of the dialog box. There are also many more outage options available on the right side of the dialog box.

There are two new options within the Checking Report group box at the lower right corner: Flag cases with the lowest and highest CTI , and Show CTI as zero when backup trips before primary . Added a Max 3LG/1LG fault current deviation base option to the Bus Fault Summary command. This new option computes the current deviation based on the maximum phase and ground current from 3LG and 1LG faults as required by the PRC- 27 Standard. Previously the Max Ph/Gnd fault current option computed the current deviation based on the maximum phase and ground fault current of 3LG, 2LG, 1LG and L-L faults. Added ability to read Version -11 and -12 DXT files.

We made this change to enable you to accept DXT files generated by CAPE and other sources. Note: We no longer advocate the use of PTI raw and sequence data format for transmitting network data from CAPE to OneLiner . Added display of (x,y) coordinates when a time-difference slider intersects a transformer damage curve in the Curves Window. New Set Time Difference Slider X-position command in OC relay curve window: This command (available only when you right-mouse-click on a time-difference slider). lets you enter the exact x-coordinate where the time difference slider should appear. Added a new event-reader file format in the Fault Locator command: PDQIF.

The Fault Locator command now reads the CT ratio and the PT ratio when COMTRADE files are used. What's New in ASPEN OneLiner 3. The edit boxes for the caption-box text of the Time-Distance Window have been moved to the Misc. Options dialog box. The Captions dialog box has been eliminated. When you double-click on the caption box, the misc. option dialog box will appear. See picture below. Added a new button in the toolbar of the Time-Distance Window to expedite the execution of the Run | Show Time-Distance Curves command. See picture below. Added options for how the reference angles of equivalent sources are updated in the dialog box for Network | Set Generator Reference Angle command.

The first option Apply delta angle is the method that we have been using for a long time. The other options may be appropriate in some special circumstances. The Add | Unstable power Swing Region command in the DS Relays Window has been improved. (1) The two loss-of-synchronism regions are drawn as full circles. Previously only a portion of the circles was drawn. (2) In the TTY Window, the program shows a set of points for the power -swing stability boundary, plus the center and radius of the loss-of-synchronism circles -- for both the case with the transfer impedance What's New in ASPEN OneLiner 4. neglected, and the case with the transfer impedance included.

(3) This function now works for GSUs. The Add | Unstable power Swing Limit command in the Curves Window can now be applied to lines, 2-winding transformers (the transformer does not have be a GSU), and 3-winding transformers that have no branches connected to the tertiary terminal. The documentation and the program output for the Add | Unstable power Swing Limit command in the Curves Window have been revised. Previously, we incorrectly stated that the PRC-026 limit is a lower limit for the pickup of the relay. The updated documentation tells you that the PRC-026 limit for overcurrent phase relays is a lower limit for the instantaneous setting and for any portion of the curves that is faster than 15.
