If students have any enquiries on the question(s) during the quiz , how the invigilators help them? Ans: the invigilator(s) should encourage students to try their best to answer. Q2. If the examination is affected by inclement weather conditions, bad weather signal hosted, or outbreak issues, how the quiz is held? Ans: the guiding principles are The safety of students are always our highest priority, teachers can reschedule the time and date of the quiz .

2 However, ONLY ONE TIME SLOT shall be arranged to students sitting for the same quiz paper ( All and (Year 7-8)students shall sit for the quiz for ANCQ Year 7-8 paper at the same time instead of splitting students into two different time slots.) Q3. Is it necessary to return all quiz papers, answer sheets, and other supplementary materials? Ans: Participating schools should return ALL question papers answer sheets, and other supplementary materials. The whole school may be disqualified if they fail to submit all sets of question paper and answer sheet, including the supplementary copies.

3 Q4. Why shall we return all quiz papers, answer sheets, and other supplementary materials to HKASME? Ans: Hong Kong is the earliest place to administer Australian National Chemistry quiz in 2015. The paper is going to be administered in other regions to cater more than 120,000 students. Keeping the security of contents unleaked is our responsibility. The validity of quiz is vulnerable to a great challenge once this rule is not strictly followed. Q5. Can we assign a teaching assistant to invigilate the quiz ? Ans: Yes, but please ensure that he/she are familiar to the exam arrangement.

4 Q6. Will HKASME return the question papers to participating schools? Ans: Yes, we will return the all question papers to all schools in Oct, 2015. Q7. If our Form 2 students are smart enough, can they participate in ANCQ? Ans: Yes, but please discuss with Ms Chu at 2333 0096 before you apply for. Please note that only one time slot shall be arranged to students sitting for the same paper( S2 and S3 should be arranged at the same time-slot). 5 22/6/2015 - 21/7/2015 Collection of quiz Paper/Answer Sheet quiz papers are only available ONE day before the quiz . The school will be notified about the day of collection of quiz papers. Please ask your staff or janitor staff to come to Office to get papers with presentation of the Collection Form (Faxed Form from HKASME). 22/6/2015- 21/7/2015 Administration of quiz by School teacher(s) according to the respective school's schedule All exam materials(answer sheets, question papers) shall be collected after the quiz . The quiz takes approximately 1 hour. No supplementary quiz for those who is/are absent.

6 23/6/2015- 23/7/2015 Return of Question Paper and Answer Sheet return in-person to the HKASME office, not by post! all quiz papers shall be returned to HKASME office within 48 hours after the quiz . onward Sending the paper to Australia Oct, 2015 Return of Result, School Report, and students' results will be sent to your school, together with certificates.
