1 bill of Quantities (BoQ)Refurbishment of a forensic laboratory in RamallahITB 2013 Unit Rate US$ Total US$ 1 Demolishing WorksPreamble:The contractor should be aware that the proposed work will be carried out in the existing functioning building and that the his daily activities shall not interrupt others ongoing daily activities in the other floors of the existing building. Unit rates shall include, but not limited to, the following:a. 2 The contractor shall protect and safe guard the existing facilities and building finishes, including the painting, the floor tiles, *etc. the contractor shall not use the existing elevator for loading the construction materiale. The contractor shall make the necessary temporary water, electrical power connections ..etc to prevent interruption of the power and water supply for the existing functioning The contractor shall take all necessary measures to protect and minimize environmental hazards including pollution, noise, dust * of the existing internal partitions including block works, concrete,* etc, price to include dismantling of the electrical, mechanical installation; all as approved by the of existing wall or floor tiles as shown on drawing A02 and as per the Engineer instructions.

4 Refurbishment of a forensic laboratory in RamallahITB 2013 Unit Rate US$ Total US$ 2 Block & Plaster WorksThe contractor shall, when pricing the rates of this bill , take into consideration including and allowing for the costs or expenses of all requirements stipulated in the preambles, drawings and technical specification of the and install 10 cm thick hollow blocks with reinforced concrete tie beams over all block walls with steel reinforcement 4Ф12mm and stirrups diameter 6mm@20cm, 20cm high and width equal to the wall thickness.

5 The price should include 4Ф12@20cm length steel dowels to be planted in the adjacent concrete or stone wall and fastened with the beam reinforcement Price shall also include properly fixing and anchorage of the block works with the adjacent concrete elements as approved by the surfaces, apply 13mm thick plaster on new or existing walls composed of 2 coats of cement sand plaster (rough and fine finish) over cement splashing coat. The price includes angles beads, wire mesh on all kinds of joints especially electro mechanical.

7 Simlar to model "Coco from TAU CERAMICA" or equally approved Spanish or Italian tiles; all as per the Engineer's choice and approval. The price should include the installation of the tiles at 5mm spacing and to any pattern selected by the engineer, grouting with anti bacterial epoxy grout. Price shall include the cement mortar (1:3), sand with cement and install glazed porcelain tiles first grade for wall tiling Spanish or Italian made and as approved by the Engineer. Tiling shall be to any pattern and color selected by the Engineer, with 5mm spacing, pointing with water resistant grout like Mapei.

The price include 5*5cm angle fillet with smooth sand cement mortar (1:3), applaying of smooth surface layer of cement sand screed to recieve the sealing material.

Price to include pine woode frames, three door hinges at each door leaf, 20 cm high stainless steel kick plates from both sides of the door leafs, door stoppers, door locks, cylinders (Wally or equally approved), and the accessories as approved by the to include painting of the door leafs and frames by 2 coats of putty 2 coats of under coat ORANGE as made by APC or equaly approved,and 3 coats of APC ARAMAT; all as instructed and approved by the ,clear leaf dimensions 80x210cm.

10 Please refer to drawings details 34 + Dismantled , preserve and re install the existing wooden doors as shown on drawing A03 and instructed by the Engineer. Price shall include, but not limited to, the followings: 1 supply and install pine wooden doors frame 50mm thick and width equal to the wall thickness. 2 Fixing of the frames by galvanized steel anchors L75x100mmx40mm width and mm thick ( 4 anchors for each side) 3 Installing new handles, locks and cylinders as made by Wally or an approved Painting of the new door frames and the dismanteled door leafs with oil paint including primer, 2 coats of putty, 1 coat of undercoat and three coats of oil based wooden of 31 bill of Quantities (BoQ)
