2 The unit rate shall include the following costs and remove all obstacles on the existing roof in order to start the construction of the new floor. Unit price shall include cost of demolishing and removal of all elements covering the steel reinforcement for the columns starters on the existing roof, such concrete, blocks, stone, filling , including the preserving and cleaning of steel reinforcement for proper erection of the new columns (this is true for all existing columns including perimeter columns), also the price include dismantle and demolish parts of the existing stone roof parapet at all height as shown on detailed drawing (A04)

3 , Engineer instructions ,and and rebuild the existing stone coping. The price includes stone pointing according to drawing (A04) , Engineer instructions ,and and removal of concrete slab of the staircase ,including the protection and preservation of all existing finishing works, and all other electrical& mechanical utilities, fittings and equipments, machines.. and removal of the cement sand screed on the existing roof. 4 Price shall include cost of supplying and fixing the required steel reinforcement, as per the drawings and specifications, all the associated costs of material and engineering measurement will be and cast reinforced concrete grade 'B 300' with a minimum cement content of 350 Kg. per cubic meter for Stairs, landing, and where required. Price includes making opening in the existing wall for drop beams ,and the drop beams as per drawing (S06 ),and specifications. and cast reinforced concrete grade 'B 300' for columns with a minimum cement content of 400 Kg.

5 Per cubic meter and cast 26cm thick ribbed slab. Unit price shall include cost of supplying and laying lightweight blocks density 25kg/m , (Etolite size 50X20X12, the cement block is 6cm thick) and the required steel reinforcement. Price shall include drop beams, projected beams, and all other beams and projections as per drawing (S06 ),and specifications. and cast 15cm thick solid slab. 6 Unit rate of the stone wok shall be in accordance with specifications and shall covers all costs detailed here below:Supply and build stone class A-A, complying to the general and the following specifications: - Absorption by weight should not exceed using ASTM test method C97 - Density (Kg/m3) should not be less than 2700Kg/m3 using ATSM test method C97 - Compressive strength should not be less than 56 MPa using ATSM test method C170 - Modulus of rupture should not be less than using ATSM test method C99 - Abrasion resistance (hardness)

7 Should not be less than 10 using ATSM test method C241 - stone should be clear, free from all veins, cracks and salt holes from both sidesB200 concrete backing, 15cm thick, behind stone as per drawings and as pointing works composed of white cement and sand (1: 2) with approved additives for better workability, tightness and water proofing. Cost of all required stone pieces, similar to the pieces at the existing stone work, unless otherwise of stone lintels, window jambs, corner stones 12 cm thick, similar to existing, including steel reinforcement for stone cladding of 6mm steel mesh @ 20cm both directions.

8 The stone shall be fixed to the steel and concrete by drilling 2 holes in each stone and using 3mm galvanized steel and build 5cm thick stone for walls, as per drawings and specifications, and Engineer & install one side edge dressed stone coping 3cm thick and of (25) cm width for the roof parapet copping "Jama'een stone" . The unit price shall include cost of 20cm minimum high concrete lintel beams (ring beam) above concrete block walls, at doors/windows level, and at all block walls parameter. 10 The contractor shall, when pricing the rates of this bill , take into consideration to include and allow for the costs or expenses of all requirements stipulated in the preambles, drawings and technical specification of the and install 4 mm thick layers of modified bituminous membrane like Pazkar SBS 5/250 laid above two primer coats of GS474 at a rate of kg /m2 or equivalent approved by the engineer on a clean surface of the roof tiling and around the parapets. The price includes supply and install an approved sealant cover at groove. The price includes also supply and install 7*7cm angle fillet as shown in the drawings.
