2 This is a specialized publication intended for use by Airmen who have graduated from technical training related to this publication. It is used in conjunction with Air FORCE MANUAL (AFMAN) 11-202, Volume 3, Flight Operations, the appropriate Major Air Command (MAJCOM) supplement, and Air FORCE Tactics Techniques and Procedures (AFTTP). This MANUAL applies to all civilian employees and uniformed members of the Regular Air FORCE , Air FORCE Reserve and Air National Guard who operate or maintain C-130H aircraft. This MANUAL does not apply to the United States Space FORCE . This MANUAL requires the collection and or maintenance of information protected by the Privacy Act of 1974 authorized by 37 301a, Incentive Pay: Public Law ( ) 92-204; 93-570; 93-294) Aviation Career Incentive Act of 1974 ( ACIA of 1974 ), 93-294, and the Aviation Career Improvement Act of 1989 ( ACIA of 1989 ) (in 101-189), and the National Defense Authorization Acts (NDAA) of Fiscal Year (FY) 96 ( 104-106), FY 99 ( 105- 261) and FY 00 ( 160-65).

4 Refer recommended changes and questions about this MANUAL to the OPR listed above using the Air FORCE Form 847, Recommendation for Change of Publication; route AF Form 847s from the field through the appropriate chain of command. This MANUAL may be supplemented at any level, but all supplements that directly implement this MANUAL must be routed to the Office of Primary Responsibility (OPR) for coordination prior to certification and approval. The authorities to waive wing/unit level requirements in this MANUAL are identified with a Tier ( T-0, T-1, T-2, T-3 ) number following the compliance statement. See Department of the Air FORCE (DAFI) 33-360, Publications and Forms Management, for a description of the authorities associated with the Tier numbers.

5 Submit requests for waivers through the chain of command to the appropriate Tier waiver approval authority, or alternately, to the requestor's commander for non-tiered compliance items.
