Mandate Grace CASCADE CHRISTIAN Schools is a 501(c)(3) non-profit CHRISTIAN SCHOOL system specializing in training young people in grades pre- SCHOOL through twelve to be Christ-centered, productive believers through the teaching of the Word of God and by example, in harmony with and supporting the CHRISTIAN home. All academics will be taught from a Biblical world-view, with an emphasis on each individual s personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, since our ultimate purpose is to be like Him (Romans 8:28-30). Explanation of our Statements The mission of Grace CASCADE CHRISTIAN Schools is what we do, who we do it for and how we do it.

8 The vision is why we do what we do and what world change we would hope to see as an outcome of our ministry to families and students who attend our schools. Our core values guide the conduct of our organization and include the principles that our organization believes and follows they support our quest for excellence. Our Statement of Faith is the essential doctrines or beliefs that we hold in common as Christians in this community. Core Values Grace CASCADE CHRISTIAN Schools core values are guided by God s written Word, grounded in submission to Jesus Christ, and empowered by His Holy Spirit. TRUTH FAITH Widsom Knowledge Perseverance Hope UNITY Grace Love HUMILITY INTEGRITY Service Sacrifice Honesty Respect Purpose of Grace CASCADE CHRISTIAN Schools It is the purpose of Grace CASCADE CHRISTIAN Schools to provide a sound academic education integrated

9 With a CHRISTIAN view of God and the world. The Bible is specific in stating the principles which underlie CHRISTIAN education, one of which the Apostle Paul presented when he wrote of Christ, For by Him were all things created, both in the heavens and on He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together (Colossians 1:16-17). John, the beloved disciple, wrote in his Gospel, All things came into being by Him; and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being (John 1:3). There is an important difference between the CHRISTIAN and the non- CHRISTIAN perspectives on a given subject. Even though knowledge is factually the same for both, no subject can be taught in the totality of its truth if the Creator is ignored or denied. Knowledge is purified by the recognition of God s place in it.

10 6 | P a g e No other approach to education other than one based on Scripture, can be entirely God-honoring for parents or children. Grace CASCADE CHRISTIAN Schools considers the Word of God to be clear in making CHRISTIAN parents responsible for the education of their children. Education is not limited to the counsels of God revealed in His Word, but also the glory of God revealed in His world. Parents of students attending Grace CASCADE CHRISTIAN Schools want their children to be educated at home and at SCHOOL with the understanding that all truth is God s truth and that Jesus Christ is to be central in all learning and living situations. The ultimate goal is that the students be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ. Statement of Faith We believe that the Bible is the inerrant, inspired Word of God and that it is our final authority in matters of faith and practice.
