4 Thefire code officialshall be notified before anyrequired acceptance shall be unlawful to occupy any por-tion of a building or structure until the required fire detec-tion, alarm and suppression SYSTEMS have been tested Inspection, testing and detection,alarm and extinguishing SYSTEMS shall be maintained in anoperative condition at all times, and shall be replaced orrepaired where defective.
